It might be a little last minute and I am writing this from my phone so no AI images for you this time. Nearly forgot completely but my horde of fans couldn't be sated.
This week it's Take and Hold with Hidden Supplies so it's a weird one as there is an extra objective in NML.
Jack V Alex - Eldar V Nids (Crusher)
A nice little rematch from a recent murdering for Jack to reclaim some dignity. A recently updated list with Prisms, Wraithguard and Avatar so punch someone's face in. Alex has lots of monsters capable of taking some punches for sure and can definitely dominate the primary with this many objectives.
Not sure if Alex can keep up with secondary though so could be a saucy one.
My prediction is Alex gets a decent win as he can just ignore the Avatar and still hold a bunch of primary. 14-6.
Craig V Ben - Death Guard V World Eaters
A clash of traitors here and I think the mission favours the DG as he has quite a lot of anti infantry and ability to sit on objectives but I'm also not sure Craig has much in the way to answer Angron.
If Angron can get smashing key pieces early doors he might erode the DG quick enough. If the PBCS can roll a little hot and take him down early that will probably define the game.
Going for Craig winning 11-9.
Andy V Dave - Guard V Tau (Montka)
Potentially a gun line into a gun line here so I think going first might be a notable disadvantage.
If the melta Tau bomb appear and destroy a Dorn it will make Andy sad. If the guard takes just blow up the fish head suits quick sharp Dave will be sad. Honestly no idea who will come out on top here so am going to call it a 10-10. Breachers can hold primary fine but are so fragile they are unlikely to hold it to actually score. Bigger suits, like Andy's tanks can get on and be a bit more durable to score but both armies can melt whatever stands still with ease.
Max V Dave H - Custodes V CSM (Pactbound)
Bit of an interesting one here. Max has a reputation for making 9" charges and that makes Custodes a lot easier to play, especially a 500pt brick of Allarus.
Ok the other hand Vindicators can mess up a lot of Custodes quite easily.
I'm not sure Max will have enough bodies to hold primary on this mission, whilst also murdering they key pieces in Dave's list. If the Allarus get into a good position and go bouncing round Dave's backs line it could work but I reckon a 13-7 to chaos here.
Me V Leo - DA (Gladius) V World Eaters
Gonna smash his back doors in obviously.
Ross V Gary - Orks (War Horde) V Guard (Deathwatch)
Two good players running garbage here so just depends who's shit stinks slightly less.
It's hard to call here as I imagine the damage is fairly anemic from both parties so they might just hold 3 objectives each and stare aggressively at each other across the board and see who can score more secondary. At that point I reckon the Orks might come out on top. 12-8 to Gazzer.
