Week 4 Predictions

Afternoon everyone! Time for you all to be raised up or torn down again :) Also my highly regarded AI art returns for predictions this week.
This week it is Burden of Trust, Prepared Positions and Search and Destroy - this means guarding objectives and a nice close deployment!
Ross vs Dave - Guard/IA vs Tau (Montka) I certainly don't have any inside information here and will predict a 16-4 to Ross. I would be shocked if I am absolutely accurate with this one.

Craig vs Me - Death Guard vs DA (Gladius)
My first time facing Craig in the ring and I am bringing the body oil. I predict very little gaming will be done and it will mostly be us sliding along each other in an entirely non sensual but business like fashion. I haven't yet asked Craig for consent.
Burden of Trust suits sitting on objectives and doing fuck all but not dying and I happen to have three units that are extremely good at that. However Lethal Hits and -1 SV do make them a bit sadder than usual. I guess I will have to VINDICATE or ERADICATE anything that risks my precious knights.
Mortarion who? I have an Apothecary Biologis! Let's go toe-to-toe and please ignore the bodyguard behind the curtain...
I don't think DG are in a super positive place right now and will struggle to go through my tanks with the defensive strats Marines have access to. This should give me a reasonably free reign to control the board while Mortarion keeps droning on about how tough his life is etc etc. Predicting a 16-4 to me here.

Jack vs Dave - Aeldari vs CSM (Pactbound)
Before Jack ups sticks and embarks on his third army in as many months (just as they are about to get nerfed) he will continue to dabble with the pointy eared fuck heads who do what they want, when they want.
Double Prism does provide a problem for Dave's hull heavy list as they will almost never be able to draw a bead on them unless there is some sneaky strat reserve option. I tried that against Jack recently and he screened me out like a cunt.
Alternatively he goes up the board and just stands on a couple of objectives while Wraithguard brick shoots at them, then hides of course. As I said previously, cunts.
I am not sure Jack has anything particularly effective into AC/DC so that could be problematic. And can Jack kill enough hulls in time for him to score actual primary?
Close one here I reckon, one misplay from Jack and it is all over. 11-9 to Dave.

Ben vs Gary - WE vs Orks (War Horde)
Gary shows glimpses, occasionally, that he knows what he is doing. Then he buys, builds and paints Orks and is dangerously close to following the "Ben" pattern with them.
There is a good chance Angron just goes on a mad killing spree here but I can see a lot of the rest of the WE getting screened off primary for too long and the number of green bodies getting the job done. Kill Rigs could put some hurt on Angron but also probably not. Anything WE touch I think will just melt into a fungus like goo but there is still quite a lot of bodies and vehicles to slow the bloodthirsty tide down.
Going for 15-5 to Gary here.

Alex vs Max - Tyrannids (Crusher) vs Custodes (Shield Host)
Alex is coming in hot off a win in one of the most renowned tournaments in the country so could hubris set in here? Running undefeated with his mob of monsters - can Max be the one to buck that trend and give Alex his first league loss?
Sorry Max but no. Almost all of Alex's list is tailor made to murder Custodes wholesale.
The saving grace here is Search and Destroy - if I were Max I would deploy right on the fucking line against a very squished up deployment, for that many monsters, pray for first turn and run at him hard with Wardens and Allarus. If you can pin down the army a little back in deployment there is a possibility of victory here. If you go second with this tactic you are fucked though.
17-3 to Alex unless the above gets pulled off.
