Week 3 is complete and we have a dataslate on the horizon as well as two new Codex's so I expect things to shake up imminently. Let's see how this last week went and how accurate my predictions were!
Sam V Jack - 45-96
Prediction: Jack
With absolutely zero foresight on this game my prediction was eerily accurate. I am still not entirely sure what happened here - it is like I was in a fugue state or I have repressed the memory due to the trauma.
All part of the plan though - I lost to Jack to avoid having to play the people at the top of the league and can start mugging off noobs...

Alex V Sean - 90-66
Prediction: Alex
So my jinxing plan against Alex has failed but it has increased my accuracy. The rampage of the Aeldari continues with Mr Powell at the helm - can anyone stop him? The answer is yes - I will be the hero we need but I am biding my time until I play him, lull him into a false sense of security and than POW. This is how it happens when I fantasise about it at night anyway.
Sean was actually ill for this so Ben B stepped in for an Aeldari off and I saw a lot of concentrated frowning from both sides during this battle. Lots of trickery mirrored on both parts of the board. Stupid elves.

Tom V Chris - 97-42
Prediction: Chris
I must defend myself here as when I wrote this Tom was running his Raiders list and then wildcarded into Bile. Which I think does much better into Chris' list.
The alternative truth is that Chris continues on his path of crushing inability to play Bridgehead, which is honestly getting funnier each time just because I know it will be keeping him up at night. Although his whatsapp comment along the lines of "AoW think these units are the best, Mordian thinks these other units are the best, and neither of them are my units"...something to ponder.
Also Tom's CSM Bile list looks wonderful.

Mike V Dan - 80-20
Prediction: Mike
While the prediction was accurate Dan unfortunately couldn't make it and Mike is furiously chasing Alex so wasn't willing to risk it on a stand in. Which proved to be a wise choice.

Max V Kyle - 92-74
Prediction: Kyle
I am not entirely sure what happened here - I am still sure Kyle's army is essentially tailor made to purify Max's silly men. I should reach out to Kyle and check he is OK or perhaps a recommendation to visit his GP to check for cranial growths.
This does not take away from Max continuing to improve with his self flagellating path with Imperial Agents. Dropping Canis for multiple Deathwatch lads seems to be a much better way of playing his army for sure.
As the ONLY Imperial Agents player at Hobby Henchmen we wish him the best for top UK placings.

Mark V Angus - 51-57 (fuck you Pete)
Prediction: Mark
We have a win on the board for our boy Angus! I will begin planning the riot immediately - I think Lisa will our leader on the march.
Despite hearing Angus' mantra of "Oh I forgot about (insert faction defining ability) again" a couple of times during this game he managed to pull it out of the bag with some savage Doombolts tearing through Mark's Land Raider and embarked Bladeguard early doors.
As a side note we are still waiting for a ruling from Ross about Doombolts - can you confirm is a Psychic Attack is an Attack please?
Mark gambled on the survivability of the Land Raider for an early 2VP. Unfortunately that gamble did not pay off against a plethora of Mortal Wounds. Lessons were learned.

Ross V Freddie - 98-74
Prediction: Ross
Thank you Ross, for getting my predictions back on level ground. A romping victory for the Imperial Knights and another L for Freddie's HHELO score. We should probably tell him about the anti-Freddie lasers we have set up at the club.
Take and Hold with Hidden Supplies is nice for the obnoxiously high OC of the IK and it wasn't a terrible score from Frederick but Ross was obviously feeling the pressure after his dramatic losses to me recently so he locked in.
Might have to change the HH t-shirt from "If Angus wins we riot" to "If Freddie wins we riot".

Craig V Ben - 93-90
Prediction: Craig
A beautifully close game from the berzerkers vs the bulbous and I wish I had spent a bit of time watching it. Craig came away from it with a big smile on his face and Ben secretly consumed a Blightlord Terminator so I am looking forward to the fallout from that.
This gets Craig his first win on the board and Ben still searching for his but score 90 again mate and it should be yours!

Neil V Gray - 80-20
Prediction: Gray
Well Gray finds himself in something of a pickle now, unable to play two games in a month has left him with two defaulted games and 63 points across the first three rounds. The first round was actually scored and he only actually got 3 more than a default loss so who knows if anything would actually have been different.
If Gary had been playing I think he would have done better but this Gray guy clearly doesn't understand the league format.
Or has he just committed even harder to the submarine "plan" than I have?
