Have I forgotten to do the Post Game Roundup for Week 5? Maybe. Will I still do it tonight to mock Leo, Harry and Luke? Absolutely.

Until then you will have to survive on my pre game chitter chatter about Week 6, as I am 45 minutes away from smashing Lukey Boy’s tiny back door in.

The mission this week is Vital Ground/Hidden supplies – this means an extra objective in NML and more VP for holding your opponents DZ.

Luke V Sam – Votann/Custodes

Should be an emotional battering for Luke here. I had one practice game to get my eye in and now it will be smooth sailing. Even with 800 points tied up in two unit, like the pro that I am. I might even try and use my Caladius’ this time rather than hide away until a single angry dwarf teleports next to them and reduces them both to shiny rubble.

His bikes are actually the thing that scare me the most. Volume of D2 shots with sustained 2, from strat, makes me a very unhappy servant of the Throne.

Ideally I will also not DS a 400 point unit of Venatari within charge range of Berzerks either this time. Turns out they punch real nice. Cunts.

100-0 to me. Luke loses 10 battle ready points for being distractingly sexy.

Rob V Leo – Admech/CSM

Itching to try out his new book, and almost certainly fuck it right up, is Leo “Warp Talons don’t seem that good” Morey. Rob is piloting the continuingly dull and toothless Admech into a very exciting and toothy new CSM book – his bravery in the face of adversity always impresses.

This is Leo’s to smash but using a new book for the first time is always a bit daunting – new rules, new strats and new combinations can take a while to get used to. The Soul Forged detachment seems most suited to Leo’s current list, so might be the easiest to transition to. Then again the Index detachment is still fucking solid so might not need to make any immediate changes.

I am not sure how well his current list goes into lots of T3 bodies though and OC might well be a serious problem to consider.

If he runs Raiders or does a full list change up I think Leo can get this done but if he sticks then I believe Rob has a massive mission play advantage and will likely win.

Chris V Gary – Guard/CK

So Chris really should blow Gary off the board here. He basically crafted and chose this list specifically to beat Gary and didn’t care if he lost every other game. Unfortunately for the rest of us he has made us look fools and beat us too.

It isn’t Gary doesn’t have answers to armour – his whole list effectively kills tanks and is super fast. It is whether he can get enough in at the same time to limit the line of tanks getting firing lines. The battle of the big boys is matched on the table with a Banesword facing off against a Chaos Lancer and I want to see how that pans out.Four objectives also benefits the higher OC CK army but I get the feeling this will be over in like 2/3 turns either way. Good old fashioned fisticuffs. This match is basically for the League title so it falls to Traitor Princeps Fisher to prevent Chris getting two on the trot.I am going to sit on the fence here and say whoever gets first turn wins this one.

Harry V Ben – Tsons/GK

Both small, elite armies with lots of objectives to cover. Harry slightly hamstrung by his choice to bring a Brigand (deserved) and Ben being able to get to where he needs to, to grind down Rubrics one at a time.

If Harry somehow manages to effectively screen the GK he can certainly take apart the GK piecemeal but I am not convinced he has the footprint on the board to do so.

I have a feeling Castellan Crowe and his firebrand toting boys are going to eat well – 80-40 to Ben.
